Tralei Rentals
Essential guide to your rental In Tenerife
We charge a small security deposit to ensure the safe return of our equipment. However, this deposit can be waived if you leave a physical ID or passport with us for the duration of the rental.
In the event that any equipment is returned damaged or with missing parts, the cost of repairs or replacements will be assessed.
We have a full Gide on the Best Kayaking and paddle Surf (SUP) routes in Tenerife with some of the best routes arriving at beautiful hidden gems and beaches that do not have easy walking access, but that can be accessed using Inflatable paddle boards (SUP) or Kayaks.
Our paddle boards are inflatable and come packed in a convenient carrying bag for easy transportation. When you arrive at the designated meeting point, we will provide you with a manual pump to inflate the board yourself.
For added convenience, we also offer an electric pump rental as an extra. This battery-powered pump can inflate up to five paddle boards, with each board taking approximately 12 minutes to inflate.
When picking up your equipment, you’ll need to bring your booking confirmation and a valid ID or Passport. For your paddleboard experience, we recommend bringing the following:
The full-day rental (24 hours) is our standard pricing model, while the half-day rental is offered as a discounted option on specific equipment for those who only need the equipment for a shorter period.
The reason we require all equipment to be returned same-day is to allow us to inspect, clean, and perform any necessary maintenance to ensure it is in perfect condition for the next customer. This process is essential for safety, quality control, and scheduling.
By returning the equipment in the evening, we can:
Ultimately, the price difference exists because keeping the equipment for 24 hours means we lose the ability to rent it the next morning, while half-day returns allow us to keep everything running smoothly for all customers.
Prior experience is not required to rent a paddle board. However, we recommend testing the board on calm waters first to get a feel for it. For added comfort, we suggest renting an adjustable seat that can be attached and detached. This allows you to sit and practice, then convert the paddle board into a kayak if you're not yet comfortable standing. It’s a great option, especially if you're new to sea activities, as it can take a little time to learn how to balance and stand on the paddle board.
Yes, the dimensions of the paddle board, when deflated, are 88 cm tall, 40 cm wide, and 27 cm thick, which should fit in most standard vehicles. The compact size makes it easy to transport.
Currently, we do not offer delivery options, but we are actively working on providing this service in the future.
On the island of Tenerife, weather conditions can vary significantly by location. If there’s wind or adverse weather in one area, there is likely a different part of the island with calm conditions and good weather. It’s almost always possible to find a suitable spot for your activity.
If a meteorological alert is issued for the entire island, we will cancel your reservation and offer a full refund. To check the weather, we recommend using apps like Windy.com to monitor conditions in different areas. After pick-up you can use your own transportation to arrive at the best location to enjoy your rental equipment.
