Tralei Rentals

By renting equipment from Tralei Rentals (“Tralei”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your rental.
1.1. The rental agreement begins at the time of equipment pickup and ends at the agreed return time.
1.2. The renter must be at least 18 years old and provide valid identification (e.g., passport or national ID) to rent equipment.
1.3. Tralei reserves the right to refuse rental to any individual who does not meet safety requirements or appears unfit to operate the equipment.
2.1. Rental fees are as stated at the time of booking and must be paid in full before equipment is released.
2.2. Additional charges may apply for late returns, damage, loss, or theft of equipment.
2.3. A security deposit may be required, which will be refunded upon safe return of the equipment, minus any deductions for damage or loss.
3.1. The renter agrees to use the equipment responsibly and only for its intended purpose.
3.2. The equipment must not be used under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or physical ability.
3.3. The renter is responsible for ensuring that all safety equipment (e.g., life jackets) is used as required.
4.1. The renter acknowledges that the use of paddle equipment involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or death.
4.2. Tralei is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other losses arising from the use of the rental equipment.
4.3. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold Tralei harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from their use of the equipment.
5.1. The renter is responsible for the equipment during the rental period and must return it in the same condition as it was received.
5.2. In the event of damage, loss, or theft, the renter will be charged for repair or replacement costs at Tralei’s discretion.
5.3. Tralei reserves the right to charge the renter’s security deposit or payment method for any unpaid fees.
6.1. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund.
6.2. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time or for no-shows.
6.3. Tralei reserves the right to cancel rentals due to unsafe weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued.
7.1. Tralei complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection laws.
7.2. Personal data collected during the rental process (e.g., name, contact information, ID) will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the rental agreement and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
7.3. Renters may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting Tralei.
8.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
8.2. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife
9.1. Tralei reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Renters will be notified of any significant changes.
By signing the rental agreement or proceeding with the rental, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
